Pausing Sunday Mornings
Hey there,
Thank you all for being part of the Sunday Mornings experiment.
I’ve had some great chats with some of you about how Sunday Mornings fit into your life.
I’ve decided to put this idea on pause for the time being so I can focus my attention elsewhere.
Here’s what I learned through this experiment:
It is very hard for a product/experience to get people to alter their behavior or change their routines
A lot of people are hungover/tired after a night out on Sunday mornings and don’t want to walk
The problem that Sunday Mornings is looking to solve is a big, complex one - lack of community, loneliness, lack of deep relationships, etc. This is a problem that a lot of people have but they aren’t aware that they have it. They only see the symptoms of the problem, not the problem itself
I love doing these sorts of experiments and my hope is that I’ll find one that catches some traction and solves a real problem and then I’ll spin it into a real company.
But until then, I’ll keep throwing shit at the wall until something sticks!
— Matt
P.S. If you are a dedicated Sunday Mornings walker and still want the prompts, email me and I’ll send you a list of fire prompts that you can use for the future
